COVID-related travel regulations
In accordance with the Resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation of July 14, 2022, № 1267, all temporary restrictions, introduced earlier for foreign citizens entering the Russian Federation via air, sea, automobile, railway, land, river or combined ports of entry at the state border of the Russian Federation to tackle the spread of COVID-19, were lifted on July 15, 2022.
Starting from October 21, 2022 persons travelling to the Russian Federation by any form of international transport are not required to provide medical documents, certifying a negative result of their laboratory COVID-19 polymerase chain reaction test.
